Samsung has been working hard to introduce Android 10 in its models, especially in the flagship series of Galaxy Note. One of such distinctions has now gone to a particular Galaxy device. The T-Mobile version of Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G will be the first Samsung phone to offer Android 10 out-of-the-box.

Some might wonder the point of this launch when Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G was already launched months ago. However, unlike the previous version, the T-Mobile version doesn’t support mmWave signals. Instead, it operates on the sub-600MHz 5G band of T-Mobile, which is active in certain regions and cater to almost 200 million Americans.

The big news about the model is that it will come with out-of-the-box Android 10. The stable android version would be layered with Samsung’s One UI 2.0. While this could be entirely unrelated, but it does strengthen the hopes that Samsung is on-track to supply stable Android 10 in its models soon. Samsung had earlier announced its goal to deliver stable Android 10 by January 2020, but now it seems it has fulfilled its promise even earlier.

Before buying this model, users must know a few things. The biggest takeaway is that the T-Mobile version doesn’t support mmWave signals, often touted to deliver the “true” 5G experience. As the mmWave coverage expands, it might become crucial for the full 5G experience in the future. On the other hand, the model takes full advantage of T-Mobile’s vast sub-600MHz coverage. On that bandwidth, it can deliver speeds up to 600Mbps and have very low latency. So, if you want to experience the astonishing 5G speed right now and/or are willing to switch phones in a year or two, you can definitely go for this phone.
