We have seen that the rumour mill regarding Apple’s plans for next year has already started. While there are already reports that the MacBooks and iPads will be released next year, we also know a few things about the iPhone 12. First of all, there are strong reports that iPhones in 2020 will have 5G support. Also, we know that the chassis will have a new design from the current generation which means we will see a different look for next year’s models. On the other hand, reports are also emerging that there will be more than three iPhones next year.

Now, there is a new report from Apple Insider regarding the iPhone 12 from Apple which says that there will be six different models of the flagship series from the company. An analyst firm named Rosenblatt Securities has revealed that the company is working on six different models for next year. According to them, Apple is preparing for the ‘Plus’ and ‘Max’ models of its ‘Pro’ series. It is interesting to note that we had the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11 Pro Max. If these reports are to be believed, we are likely to see an iPhone 12 Plus, 12 Pro Plus and 12 Pro Max added to the lineup next year.

As weird as it may sound from the names, we think that it is logical as well for the people who prefer smaller screens but also want them to be powerful despite the size. However, the firm also mentions that they still retain the sell rating for Apple’s shares since they believe that impending share losses in China won’t be helping Apple. Also, they believe that the ‘iPhone SE 2’ will not do as great in the market as the company expects it to. The firm believes that iPhone SE 2 is nothing but a move to “clean [out] some old component inventory.”
