After waiting for over a decade, the moment that all GTA lovers have been dreaming of will finally be here soon. Rockstar Games, the makers of the iconic crime spree franchise, are all set to unveil the first trailer of their next offering, dubbed GTA VI, on December 5. This will be the first official glimpse at what’s in store for fans from the franchise, which just turned ten years old earlier this year with the release of GTA V.

The trailer will be launched at 9:00 am ET, which means that for people in India, it will drop at 7:30 pm on December 5. However, even before this official launch, several rumors and speculations about what the new game might have in store have been going through the rounds. While many of them have been false, one tidbit that has emerged is that the trailer will feature both male and female protagonists.

This is an exciting prospect because Rockstar has never had a single female character in any of its previous GTA titles. It’s also worth pointing out that the trailer is expected to reveal critical aspects of the game, including its storyline and characters.

While GTA 5 is still a trendy title, it’s clear that the company is looking to push the boundaries of its franchise with its successor. It’s also worth mentioning that last year, it was revealed that the GTA 6 team plans to introduce an all-new character who Bonnie and Clyde will heavily influence. In addition, it’s also been reported that the game will be set in Vice City, a fictionalized version of Miami.

However, despite these interesting tidbits, it’s important to remember that Rockstar isn’t known for adhering to its release timelines. This was evident when the developer released Red Dead Redemption 2 after a two-year delay. As such, it’s not too surprising to see that GTA 6 might be delayed too.

The biggest rumor is that the game will be set in Vice City. This would be the first time the franchise has shifted to this setting since GTA: Vice City Stories in 2006. In addition, a recent report by Bloomberg has stated that the game is slated to introduce its first female protagonist and will have a plot influenced by Bonnie and Clyde.

While many eagerly await the arrival of GTA 6, it’s worth noting that a few development team members have left the studio in the past few years. This includes Dan Houser, the co-founder of Rockstar and a leading creative behind some of the company’s most popular titles, and Leslie Benzies, who served as the lead designer on both GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption. So, the game may be delayed due to these recent shakeups within the company. Until then, keep watching this space for all the latest updates on the upcoming GTA VI trailer.
