Xiaomi has been releasing a lot of smartphones in markets except the US for reasons that are obvious. One reason being that Xiaomi knows it will come under the scanner of privacy laws in the US for its MIUI skin which is said to have ads as well as security issues. That being said, Xiaomi is doing great in markets such as China, India, Europe and others where people are used to its MIUI skin which might be bad for some. That being said, Xiaomi entered the ‘flagship killer’ segment recently as it launched the Redmi K20 series with Snapdragon 710 and Snapdragon 855 processors respectively.

Now, the company is about the repeat the success of its Redmi K20 series with its Redmi K30 series by launching new ‘flagship killer’ smartphones soon as per this report. We have come to know that the Redmi K30 will be launching in China on December 10 as per teasers from the company. Also, the Redmi K30 will have a 5G variant as well as it will feature punch-hole cameras instead of the pop-up selfie camera as previously leaked for the device.

Also, the fact that Redmi K30 will have a 5G variant means that it might have a 5G-supported processor which is likely to be the Snapdragon 735 which is yet to be announced by Qualcomm. This will be the successor to Snapdragon 730G which was seen on upper mid-range smartphones for this year. In terms of pricing, we expect Xiaomi to once again crush its competition as it is the major point of buying Xiaomi devices. On the other hand, a new leak shows that a 90Hz refresh rate panel might also be available on this device. Other than that, a OnePlus 7T-like rear camera module can also feature on Redmi K30. For official announcement, we will have to wait two more weeks when Xiaomi announces the devices in China.
